Explore a pose.
Choose a small arm movement or edit individual joints. Keep the robot supported.
Quick arm poses
Enable movement, then choose a pose.
Only the arms move; legs and hands keep their positions.
Arms only; legs and hands stay unchanged. Drawings are approximate—verify the poses on your robot.
Servo targets
Choose a quick pose to inspect its arm targets.
Supported left-foot stance
Full body sequence: stand → shift weight → lift right leg, over 7.5 seconds. Hold the torso securely throughout. This is a supported test pose, not verified free balancing. Drawing is approximate.

Body joints
Edit freely. Nothing moves until you apply a pose or play a sequence.
Understanding joint targets
Each joint uses a position from 0 to 1000, rather than degrees. A pose is a set of those positions. Move time controls how long the robot takes to reach the target. The measured or last commanded position appears beneath each control.
Arm labels follow the robot diagram in the original editor. “Diagram left” and “Diagram right” avoid confusion about which direction you are facing.
Action sequence Unsaved
Your first move starts here
Set a draft pose in Control, then choose Add pose.
Add another pose to make a sequence.
Each row is a full body pose. Click a row number to copy that pose into the Control draft. Edit any value directly; editing never moves the robot.
Keep this browser page visible during playback. Switching workspaces keeps it running; a lost or hidden page stops the sequence after the connection timeout.
Camera view
Snapshots refresh about once a second while this page is visible. Tracking activities process camera images on the robot.
Choose a tracking activity, then click the camera image to select its target color.
Camera calibration is in Setup
Select a vision activity to bring the camera view back here, or return to your calibration controls.
Robot connections
Use the robot’s own controller address and port. HTTP must be a private LAN address or .local hostname; a public hostname requires HTTPS.
Tokens stay in this page’s memory and are cleared on reload. Saved profiles store only the name and address on this browser.
Choose a robot to connect.
Pair this robot with the hosted controller
Generate a token here, on the robot’s local page, then paste it into TonyPiTastic! on your other browser. Keep it private: it authorizes this robot’s controls. Generating or revoking a token stops active work and disables movement.
Pairing status has not been read.
The token will not be shown again after you hide it or leave this page. Generating another replaces the old token.
PiLink Doctor
A checkup for your robot’s Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
Choose a robot to begin.
The Pi reports the controller address’s interface and return route.
Read signal, association and radio state from the Pi.
Connect to a robot, then run a check. These checks do not move the robot.
The browser address and the Pi’s network route are different measurements. A local relay can sit between them. The Pi reports which interface owns the controller address and its return route to its peer; it does not observe the incoming packet’s physical interface or your computer’s Wi-Fi adapter. A Wi-Fi address can still answer through Ethernet while the cable is connected. Results are snapshots; refresh after changing a cable or Wi-Fi setting.
Ethernet & Wi-Fi interfaces
Network interfaces have not been read.
Routes & health findings
Default routes have not been read.
Nearby Wi-Fi
Scan from the robot’s own radio. Scanning does not join or forget a network. Disable movement and stop activities first; the radio may pause briefly during a scan.
No scan has been requested.
Try Wi-Fi with a way back
Keep Ethernet connected. A guarded Wi-Fi change gives you 180 seconds to test it and keep it, then restores the earlier settings if you do not confirm.
Read network status to check whether guarded Wi-Fi management is installed.
The password is sent only to your robot. It is cleared from this page when submitted and is never saved in a browser profile, report or download. An open network has no password.
Open the Wi-Fi controller address in a new tab and check that it works. Leave this wired page open while you test. The bridge keeps movement disabled during the trial.
Troubleshoot without losing your connection
- Keep the Ethernet cable connected while checking Wi-Fi. Read the interface list to see whether Wi-Fi is associated and has an IP address.
- Run a health check to test the Pi’s configured gateways. A reachable gateway confirms that local path; it does not prove internet access.
- Scan Wi-Fi to check whether the robot sees your network. Compare its name and signal with the active Wi-Fi interface.
- If the robot receives a different address on Wi-Fi, use that address in Robot connections. Test it before removing the cable.
The Pi’s network manager has not been identified. Wi-Fi credentials are not read or stored by these checks.
Color calibration
Load the robot’s saved LAB thresholds, preview a color in the camera, and save only the settings you have tested under your current lighting.
